Gemma is a BACP-registered psychotherapist with over 8 years of professional experience, dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centred support. Her core approach is grounded in person-centred psychotherapy, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with openness and honesty.

Gemma began her career supporting young people in crisis, where she gained extensive experience working with childhood trauma. She later expanded her practice to include adults, working within low-cost counselling services, private practice, and with organisations that support survivors of sexual abuse and trauma.

Outside of her professional work, Gemma enjoys spending time with her young family, getting outdoors as often as possible, and travelling whenever the opportunity presents itself. This balance of personal and professional life brings warmth and perspective to her work with clients.

Throughout her career, Gemma has helped clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and family conflict. She understands that taking the first step towards seeking therapy can feel daunting, but it is also an important act of courage.

Gemma’s role is to walk alongside you in that process—helping you to make sense of your experiences, find clarity, and work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
